I live in a soft water area, the kettle for instance is as new after many years, no scale.
However the wash hand basin and bath always have a scum left around them after draining like you expect in a hard water area. All types of soap, same result.
I have a combi boiler, an Ideal, previous...

Why not 15mm all the way round?

Hi all.
Just wanted to say I started my gas course yesterday, bloody hell lol. The amount of info that has been threw at me is immense. It's going well though. Only covered ventilation and flues so far but it's good. Amazing how many things my employer hasn't mentioned to me.
Chaps a little help if I may.

Hello,
Could someone please explain what is meant by the boiler KW input and how it is achieved. Also would i be right in thinking that the boiler KW output is how much power the boiler gives off?
Thankyou.

My Boulter Buderas (now Worcester Bosch I think) combi boiler is normally pressurised to 1.5 bar. Over the last month it has lost 0.1 bar. Is this cause for concern or should I expect a small loss?
