Hi all,

I have a Megaflow hot tank, its got an off peak and boost switch wired into it.
Its randomly stopped heating my water, could it be the element? I have no plumbing expertise, any help appreciated! I've no idea the age of the tank.

Thanks

If it is heated by electric immersion element, check it's not been accidentally switched off / mcb on consumer unit has not tripped. If not you need to call an electrician.

your stat may have tripped on the immersion heater. it could also need replacing.

How old is the hot water cylinder?
