Anyone know if this type of valve already exists and where I can buy one?

Hi, I'm still abroad and slightly bored. My father waters the plants on his balcony using plastic bottles. Refilling them from the kitchen tap is time-consuming and laborious and 16 bottles take up a fair bit of floor space. It has occurred to me that if there were, say, 2-4 bottles filled...

Need to extend the 3/8" braided stainless steel faucet supply lines for my bathroom sink.

The 3/8" braided stainless steel faucet supply lines for my GROHE bathroom sink are a couple of inches short. Is there a way to extend their length? The way this faucet is built there is no way to replace the supply lines with longer ones.

Where can I buy a box spanner for a 1.5inch BSP immersion heater? (2" across flats)

I need such a spanner to remove a failed IH, and to install a replacement; in a domestic hot water cylinder made by Opus (Cyprus). I am aware that in general the distance across the flats may vary somewhat from brand to brand, despite all having 1.5" BSP threads. In my case, both old and new IH...

Cracked Mira Flight - what do we buy next?

Hi, we bought a Mira flight tray back in March (it’s been under the bed since then as we ran out of money to finish a second bathroom). We pulled the tray out, peeling the plastic off and it has a hair line crack on one side. Mira won’t do anything about - understandably. But it means that we...

Dear All, Whenever possible I aim to buy the correct quality product the first time round. Plumbing labour and water damage is expensive, thus, very happy to pay quite a bit more for materials provided it is needed to ensure a lasting product over time. Your advice will be much appreciated...
