The first one is with converting a chrome 20mm (may possibly be 21mm) sink waste outlet pipe to either 32mm or 40mm for connection into a 110mm soil stack. Can someone please point me in the right direction of a...

Anyone fitted one of these chrome ones ?
Went to get one yesterday for a customer and suppliers warned me away from them said they never match existing pipework and i would regret doing it , anyone had this experience with them?
Has anyone else had trouble with chrome pipe from screwfix recently. I have never had problems b4 but a customer got some the other day for me to fit a rad. The chrome flaked of just via a pipe slice hummm not good sign!!! But as soon as I tried to put a small kick in it the plateing just...
What fittings do you guys use to get it as close to the wall as possible. Do you just use chrome tap back plates with a couple of 1/2 × 3/3 female irons? I think you will still end up seeing a bit of the iron from the valve though. cheers chaps
Does such a thing exist (40mm to 42mm chrome plated brass compression joint)? I'm have a nightmare trying to marry my shallow seal bath waste with existing 42mm pipe-work. Thanks in advance for any help.
Evening all. Had a bit of drama sealing some compression fittings to chrome pipe yesterday was a cold feed to a toilet under mains pressure, wasn't a massive leak just a small drop round the nut, I had to tighten the nut much tighter than I normally do, just didn't want to seal properly.
Any...
When I was training, my mentor told me that in order to get a proper seal with chrome pipe and compression fittings, it was necessary to remove the chrome plating at the end, in order to get the olive to "stick". What does everyone else do? I have always done this but have now been told that it...
Hellllppppp I need a chrome drain off valve I am doing a drop down for 2 rads in chrome pipe but I need a drain off to put in there. Any ideas of copper pipe it is but they really want chrome pipes
Sound s daft, I know, but I have just spent the thick end of £1000 on a Clearwater Avantgarde bath. along with far to much on a Lefroy Brooks gated overflow and plug etc.
The problem is, such is the weight and the machined edges on the chrome on brass plug, that when accidentally dropped into...

Anyone know of a good make that does not leak. I know it's pretty much a diy fix but the client wants it done this way rather than a drain down. They are behind raditor covers so won't be seen.
It has now been changed to a combi so need rid of this power shower. But, it needs changing without altering the pipework by removing tiles and so on. So a quick fix
Been ripping out a few jobs where the surface pipework is ran in chrome compression. Although in the walls it's all poly and they have even come straight out of poly plumb elbows with the chrome pipe. I have always been so against that and even though it's not highly recommended I have always...
Hi all, i seem to be running into the same problem, poor quality chrome fittings. Does anyone know where I can get really good quality chrome compression fittings etc. for exposed piping? The type i'm looking for is polished chrome, as you get in europe and good hotels rather than the chromed...
I want to add a chrome washing machine tap in a 15 mm plastic pipe. Is it advisable to use any sort of sealant in the compression joint? A plumber has previously used some sort of sealant in other joints in my house.
Hey I have installed a shower trap that after the shower drains there is always a circle of water around the chrome shower waste. Any one had this before.
morning boys and girls what past / compounds do you use on cold/hot water pipe work
basically i have a contract at the minute with another 2.5 years to run where all pipe work has to be surface mounted where possible and in chrome.
