The p&t valve on a Direct Unvented Cylinder is discharging hot water when the element in the cylinder is working. How can I find out if the p&t valve is faulty or the problem is the stat in the heating element?
Thanks

We recently went away for a few days, and my wife turned off the timer switch for the immersion heater by putting all the little time indicators to the off position. Why she didn't turn it off at the fuse box remains a mystery, Anyway, since we came back the immersion heater won't come on, even...

It seems like the hard water in my area is causing my element to go in my immersion tank very often. If the hard water is the cause how do i solve it? What options are available to me?
