Big problem need help.10years ago I had an extension put on my house. The original par of house is fitted with 10mm copper radiator pipes, no problems ever. The extension was titled with 10mm microbore plastic, which after I year or so I've had limited flow to rads, blocked plastic pipes, which...
I've got one and can't be arsed to move. I think I'll wait until it's touching cloth and hope I can make it up the stairs in time. Must remember not to fart in the meantime.
Hi all,
You know those taps with the shower head and hose attached that has the knob you pull up to get water to go to the shower head? Well can those be serviced? My uncle says the problem with his is that when you pull the knob up (water flowing) only about 60% goes up to the shower head and...
Well serves you right. As I don't drink I'm fit as a fiddle this morning and looking forward to getting out with the dogs for a couple of hours this morning.
Happy new year everyone.
Hi guys, a little advice if you please! I got called to a job today to look at a shower pump that had died. It was a small salamander unit that looks as if one of the impeller housings has overheated and blistered, causing a leak.
The shower pump is in the loft, above the shower head and about...
After drinking Doombar, Mohitos, and then moving on to to a single malt I can't remember the name of. I've got a right minting hangover. Anybody else in the hangover club. Mine on a scale of 1 to 10 is a 9. Anyone else? Or is it just me.
Anyone on here know if or how you adjust the settings on sensor taps ??
getting hassled to bits over some and would like to know if you can actually adjust these stupid annoying taps
A customer living in a flat wants to be able to take a shower and therefore needs a negative head pump. SOME flow rate would make them happy, doesn't have to be very strong.
However they have 2 small, crappy, plywood-insulated tanks located side by side in their cupboard (so an added benefit is...
High pressure area on the mains supply and we were wondering if the Triton 300i wireless would be able to deliver sufficient volume to supply the single mode triton fixed head.

A customer has a Carronite Torino bath (that I have narrowed it down to having searched about). The taps and shower hose are on the rear side of the bath, with the front panel and the side shelves (not visible on the picture) tiled. The shower hose has split and so leaks water downstairs.
Is...
I am trying to remove a tap head to inspect it and repair a drip. There is no retaining screw in the top of the upper cover, it all seems to be a single piece. I have scewed it to the biggest opening position, but it stops ther. I have tried to prise it off, but no joy. I have checked my 18...
Hi
I have trouble with reviving a leaky tap. the tap head just wouldn't come off with an adjustable wrench. (It slips off the wrench.) Would a Ring Spanner be of more help?? What are the other things I can try?
Cheers

Hi all, come across a knackered BANICO 3 port mid pos valve today, not seen that make before but anyway looks like replacing the head might be a problem as I can't find anyone online that does them apart from the manu web site and you can't order from them. Does anyone know if a honeywell will...
As the title suggests. Anyone know of a decent tool for removing a really stubborn tap head gear?
I've usually managed to crack them after a while but one job a couple of months ago had me beat, the customer had these really old taps and he loved them and I was close to threading the 'nut' part...
