Hi, Been out to this boiler but cant work out whats up with it. The heating only comes on when the hot water stat is turned fully off. when you switch on both the water and heating, The heat bank reaches temp then the boiler cuts off but wont switch to rads ? only when you manualy turn the hot...

For instance, when you change one over, what do you do when the little screw falls under a floor mounted boiler, apart from swearing? Nearly happened today but got it with some duct tape on a stick, cos it ain't magnetic.

how do you test if a syncron motor is working and are there any test to find out if the ball in a three port valve is moving as it should

when replacing a syncro motor on a honeywell valve,do you have to make sure the valve is in a certain position before fitting the new motor? Pete
