Corner valves for a radiator

Hi, I have bought corner valves to use on a new towel radiator. As you can see in the attached pic, one part of the valve has a small circular hole in it, and the other part has a large semicircular hole. Which end - 1 or 2 - should I connect to the water pipe and which end should I connect to the radiator?

Thanks for the reply, but should I attach the radiator tail to the end of the valve that looks like this...

or the one that looks like this...

Put em on the table face the valve handles to each other as the picture , the radiator tails go in the connections which are vertically up they can only go one way . Kop

If they are both nut/olive connections it doesn’t matter, either way will do.

Looks like you’ve bought the wrong valves you can’t thread them into the towel rail you need a union connector like in kops picture
