Premier NCR140 Holstein Wall Hung Pan - Question

Hi,

I'm new to this forum ... and not a plumber.

I had a wall hung toilet that was fitted 6 months ago and I'm now notice intermittent dripping from below the pan. On inspection, I see that there is a hole at the base. Is this an overflow outlet?

I've attached some photo.
Can anyone tell me what it is for and why it should be leaking 6 months after it was fitted.

Welcome to the forums, hard to see from that shot, can you take another showing more of the pan?

I would say that it from the casting, the pipe from the cistern or soil connection are more likely to be the cause of the drip imho

It's either the flush pipe or the pan connector leaking... You need to take the pan off and apply silicone sealant on both joints between these to pipes and the pan itself... It is most likely to leak here due to the casting not always being spot on with cheaper toilets.... To take off the pan you will need a 19mm ratchet spanner... And don't press the flush button until it's back on!!!
