Hi our worcester 30cdi is causing us much confusion. A while ago the temp in the shower started fluctuating this got worse until the water got very hot, followed by the boiler cutting out, ice cold water, then boiler went from U0-U9 before restarting. Same thing happening at taps. New parts so far are...plate heat exchanger, temp limit sensor, DHW sensor, primary control sensor and flow sensor. The diverter valve has been checked cleaned and refitted. The burner has been cleaned and diaphram checked. Condensate pipe and trap are clear. The water pump appears to be operating correctly.

The diverter seems to be working but sometimes intermittently, when the hot water goes cold the diverter is still in the hot water position. Would a dodgy diverter cause the boiler to overheat water and shutdown?

Any water that has been drained from the system looks very clear. The only old part that looked knackered was the flow restrictor housing, which has been replaced.

Really at our wits end now and sick of cold showers any help much apprieciated...thanks

sorry to say all we can say is get a gas engy in
