Hi, Just passed my ACS and looking to gain more knowledge in the area of fault finding. Has anyone been on the Boiler Fault Finding course at Skills TG in Paisley? If so, is it worth attending? I've tried to get on Baxi, Worcester etc courses but all fully booked. Cheers in advance

What subjects should be taught to new plumbing trainees? The new plumbing qualification is only Level 3 what should they know at the end of the training? It has got to cover the whole of the country both rural, towns & cities. (& don't do the one about the best cup of tea etc please)

Does anybody still bend s/w pipe these days? I was quite impressed when I saw this on a job, Ive not been shown how to do it but it could come in handy now and then. Most plumbing colleges have stopped teaching lead work for some years now, what other skills are we losing?
